We've been staying at home and practicing social distancing due to the coronavirus. Here are a small list of some things to do to keep up your mood and your energy and your sense of accomplishment.
1. Learn something new
Refresh your French or Spanish you learned in school but have forgotten half of. Learn a new language with DuoLingo or any other language app. Take an online class.
Take a virtual gym class, take a walk. There's lots of workouts online.
3. Practice social "dancing"
Dance at home to your favorite song. Dance on TikTok and give someone and yourself a laugh.
4. Read the books you've been planning to read
You know you have a list...
5. Connect with a loved one
Video chat with grandma or your auntie. They would love to hear from you and it's a great way to stay connected. Pull out some paper and write a letter.
7. Clean your place... or your car
You've been meaning to do it. Organize your closet. Do the deep clean (dust the blinds and the baseboards you keep saying you're going to do). Collect the coins or clean out the old french fries from under the seat in the car.
8. Give yourself the spa treatment
Try a face mask. Practice a new makeup look. Paint your nails. Trim your own hair.
9. Support local business
Order some take-out.
10. Watch new movies
Since theatres are closed, new movies are being released online. Use NetFlix Party to watch a show or movie virtually with friends. Grab your own popcorn.
